03 · Life Aboard
All Hands on Deck
At sea, time stops working like it does on land.
An Atlantic crossing is a shared undertaking. Everyone contributes to keeping the boat moving and life aboard working.
Days and nights revolve around watches: four hours on, eight hours off.

On watch, you…
- ✦steer
- ✦check the course
- ✦adjust the sails
- ✦keep an eye on the horizon
- ✦connect with your fellow crew members

Off watch, you…
- ✦help in the kitchen
- ✦care for our shared spaces
- ✦reflect on what you’re noticing
- ✦use creativity to express what’s alive in you
- ✦watch the sea, the sky and the life around us
- ✦or simply rest

There's no audience here. No spectators. Everyone is crew.
Life aboard brings the Pirate Code into small, everyday choices: taking your watch, asking for help, caring for a tired crewmate.
Guided conversations help us reflect on what we notice, how we respond and what we want to practise when we return to land.
